On Sunday afternoon, McDonald's held its 14th annual 365Black Awards at the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans during Essence Fest. The luncheon honored influential women making a positive impact in the African American community, including Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross, actress Tichina Arnold, McDonald's marketing exec Margaret Gillis, and Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network co-founder Valeshia Butterfield Jones. Essence Atkins hosted the luncheon which featured performances by Kelly Price and Jekalyn Carr and a number of other celebs were in attendance as well.
